On the seafront the striking Broughty Castle is well worth a visit. Dating back to 1490, it originally protected the Tay estuary, and now houses a museum which explains the history of this pretty fishing village.

Broughty Ferry train station is just minutes away. Plus, being just four miles from the city of Dundee, there are excellent road, rail and air links making for straightforward travel. The property is close to local bus routes and National Cycle Network Route 1 giving access to coastal cycling routes.

Dundee itself has been transformed in recent years into a lively and cosmopolitan coastal city. Choose from the waterfront development with the V&A Dundee museum, historic ships and urban beach or the city centre shopping areas, theatre and museums.

The area is surrounded by beautiful countryside which will delight walkers and cyclists, and is close to Angus and Fife beaches, and world-famous golf courses, including St Andrews and Carnoustie.
